"In Sept of 2018, I visited Dr. Barnes and his staff about REALLY starting my journey to a healthy weight. He and his staff helped me be successful!! From helping/handling insurance claims, calming any fears or insecurities about the procedure and to this day, I know I can pick up the phone, or email them and they will get back to me and BE HELPFUL! If you listen to Dr. Barnes and his staff, I don't know how you could fail at achieving your goal. I am healthy, and happy and can't recommend Dr. Barnes at Barnes Bariatric Surgical Services ENOUGH!!

"Amazing doctor with amazing staff! He performed a very complicated procedure for me (which was a revision of a revision that was not done properly by a different doctor). He is straightforward and honest and he is not quick to jump to get you under the knife until he knows you are prepared. I interacted with several doctors and nurses at the hospital, both before and at the time of surgery, and all spoke very highly of Dr Barnes and thought he was the best. You will not regret meeting Dr Barnes!"

"Dr. Barnes to me is the "Bariatric whisper). He's absolutely amazing and genuinely cares. Dr. Barnes ordered blood work and found other things that needed correction before my revision. "I started coming here in January of 2021, Dr. Barnes and his team of ladies are fantastic. They really get to know each and every one of their patients. Dr. Barnes is very straight to the point of how to get to where you want to be and will help formulate the best plan to reach your goal. I had my surgery 1 year ago and have lost 113 lbs (starting at 277) and could not be more happy with my results. They really do provide you with all of the tools you will need to succeed in the process and dont rush straight to surgery without going through all the steps and checks. From metabolic testing to, psychological evaluation, a heart stress test, and were within an affordable range even though my insurance didnt cover anything. I would highly recommend Dr. Barnes and his wonderful team."
